Tommy Feeley
About
Armed with only the thunder in his heart and the loaded twelve string on his back, Tom writes songs from the perspective of someone who misses the movie montages and miracle comebacks of the 1980s just a bit too much.
And it shows. Too much acoustic guitar for rock music, and too much rock to be folk, Tom's original work sounds more like your favorite band's MTV unplugged than the typical singer/songwriter.
Booking highlights including One Longfellow Square (Portland, ME), performing in support of Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show on the Corral Stage @ Indian Ranch (Webster, MA) and Moonshine Alley (Providence, RI).
Past escapades include stops all around the Northeast as part of Cure For Static and the Idle Kind, performing around Brooklyn, Portsmouth, at the Higher Ground (Burlington, VT), Johnny D's (Somerville, MA), and headlining both The Middle East Upstairs and Downstairs (Cambridge, MA). There was also a rumored-to-be-true appearance performing before Gentleman Hall, but what happens in an Allston, stays in Allston.
When he's not playing original music, you can catch him in Slam Trans-Am, Boston's raddest 80s party band, and the Feelgood Fiasco, an acoustic duo/trio project where any song is fair game.
